A first-evening setup checklist
Set aside half an hour before you plan to watch. This checklist runs in the order things go wrong, so each step rules out a problem before the next. Tick as you go — the boxes are just for you and aren't saved or sent anywhere.
Have the supplied credentials ready, install a compatible player, find your channels, check the guide, then test playback on the network you normally use. These six steps help separate account, app, source and network issues. No checklist guarantees every stream will work.
What this depends on
How your evening goes depends on things outside the subscription: your device, the player app you choose, your home network and the channel source. This checklist helps you find which one is causing a problem. It isn't a promise of flawless playback, and we haven't verified screen-by-screen steps for every player — menus change between app versions.
1Have your login details ready
After payment is confirmed, IPTV Services supplies your account details. Its setup instructions describe a server (portal) address, a username and a password.
2Install the right player
The player is a separate app. Choose one from your device's official app store that supports server/username/password logins (often labelled “Xtream Codes API”). Some players charge their own fee; that's between you and the app maker.
3Find your categories
Once logged in, the player loads the channel groups. Go straight to the ones you chose — the viewing organizer keeps that list — and favorite your regulars if the player supports it.
4Set up the program guide
Guide display can be affected by the device’s clock, the player’s offset settings and the listings data. Check local time settings first. More in Understanding an IPTV program guide.
5Test on your real network
A test at noon on an empty network says little about Saturday night. Test where and when you'll actually watch.
6Note anything unresolved
If something isn't right, write down the device, player, channel and exactly what you see — a photo of the screen helps — and send it to support. Unresolved setup problems are support's job, not yours to puzzle out.
